Important - please read:
Before setting a quiz, all question setters are requested to read the guidelines carefully and follow them. They have been put together by experienced players and setters and are designed to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable evening. In particular, adhere to the advice about the breadth of the rounds you set and keep the subject-matter general rather than narrowly focussed. If you would like any help or advice please contact a member of the committee.

Week 4 Quiz:
As all of you who played this quiz on Monday will know, there were significant problems with Round 4 (the picture round). Picture references in the questions had been omitted and only one copy of the pictures had been provided (there must always be 4 copies submitted with any picture round). This resulted in some teams feeling unable to undertake the round. Certain teams, with the help of non-playing team members, were able to play the round as intended. Others simply took a pragmatic approach by giving Picture 1 to seat 1a, Picture 2 to 1b etc. This means that the Committee will have to discuss the ramifications at its next meeting on 18 October and determine a solution. For the time being Week 4 scores will be shown as per scoresheets and tables will be amended accordingly, however the Total Points column will not be altered until the matter is resolved.
